Version 14 implemented vector graphics facility and several enhancements to the Powder Pattern View, Stereographic Projection View and ABINIT simulation. With the same prices as for Version 13, it is a great tool for materials research and teaching.. New Features for Crystal Studio Version 14 are as follows:
Vector graphics in .EPS (encapsulated Postscript File), .FIG (Facility for Interactive Generation of Figures File) and .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics Format) formats can be saved for the Powder Pattern View.
Vector graphics in .EPS (encapsulated Postscript File), .FIG (Facility for Interactive Generation of Figures File) and .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics Format) formats can be saved for the Stereographic Projection View.
All peaks or profiles are now plotted above the X-axis, not occasional dip below the X-axis is allowed.
All projections of planes and/or directions are plotted, not occasional omissions owing to singularity on the horizontal axis line.
Vector graphics in .EPS (encapsulated Postscript File), .FIG (Facility for Interactive Generation of Figures File) and .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics Format) formats can be saved for the Chart Views for various ABINIT simulations. (Quantum edition only)
Vector graphics in .EPS (encapsulated Postscript File), .FIG (Facility for Interactive Generation of Figures File) and .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics Format) formats can be saved for the 2D Chart Views for electron density and potentials. (Quantum edition only)
Band structure calculation in ABINIT can now be applied to most structures, not restricted to BCC, FCC and Hexagonal structures as in Version 13. (Quantum edition only)
Phonon Band structure calculation in ABINIT can now be applied to most structures, not restricted to BCC, FCC and Hexagonal structures as in Version 13. (Quantum edition only)
